Water Conservation Programs

Saving water and money just got easier. We’ll show you how! Participate in the Water Use Survey Program and receive the following services at ABSOLUTELY NO COST:

Water Conservation Fact: New, High Efficiency toilets are designed to use 1.1 gallons of water per flush. Older models can use between 1.6 to 7.0 gallons per flush.

Our surveyor will come to your home or business and:

  • evaluate your irrigation system and controller, soil type and root depth. We will teach you how to read your meter, provide you with a customized watering schedule and recommend improvements to your irrigation system.
  • search for hidden leaks; provide low-flow showerheads and faucet aerators.
  • provide information and application materials for the City programs.

Please note that the Free Water Use Survey is required as a pre-requisite to qualification for all of the programs that follow, except Residential Clothes Washer Rebates:

In lieu of the free High Efficiency toilets offered by the City, the City will provide a $100 rebate per toilet for the replacement of up to TWO toilets that use more than 1.6 gallons per flush with a High Efficiency toilet on the List of Qualifying Toilet Models. Please note that you must have a Free Water Use Survey first to confirm that the toilets being replaced meet the requirement for rebate, so please call PRIOR TO REMOVING THE TOILET(S)

To receive an application to participate call (707) 665-3638.
