CARE program (water and sewer rate discount program information)The City offers discounts on water and sewer bills for low-income households. If you are receiving a low-income discount from PG&E via their CARE Program (California Alternate Rates for Energy), then you are eligible to receive a 10% discount on your water and sewer bill from the City. The only documentation we need is a copy of the first page (including remittance portion) of your PG&E bill, which shows that you are participating in their CARE program. Applications for CARE are located at the local PG&E office or on-line at www.pge.com/care or you can pick up a copy at City Hall in the Water department. |
