Star Kids Productions Presents: The Winter Sisters - Ages 5-7

When the newly crowned Queen Elsa accidentally uses her power to turn things into ice to curse her home in infinite winter, her sister, Anna, teams up with a mountain man, his playful reindeer, and a snowman to change the weather condition. Join STAR Kids for this fun musical theatre workshop for kids ages 5-7. This fun class preps your child for the world of performing in musical theatre! The class culminates in a performance of The Winter Sisters for friends and family.

Children will learn basic ballet movement. They will dance and pretend as they act out stories using dance movement. We use a variety of music to enhance musical rhythms by clapping and listening, using stretching and improvisation while having lots of fun. Let us share our love of dance with your youngster. Clothing Requirement: Girls: pink leotard (short sleeved, no attached skirts), pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black patent tap shoes. Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts, socks and black ballet slippers and black tap shoes.

Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art. This class will study basic and flowing exercises with the wooden sword (bokken) and 5 foot staff (Jo). The Founder's desire that Aikido teach harmonious blending rather than conflict is emphasized in this class. We will explore the body movement consistent with empty-handed aikido. All skill levels are welcome. No uniform or dogi is required. The instructor, Pete Breeland, with over 30 years of experience with Aiki buki-waza (Aiki weapons techniques), is ranked at 5th dan. Holiday Tree Lighting

Come join us for our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting in La Plaza Park! This year, we will also be adding food and craft vendors, starting at 4:00pm. The night will be full of music, free coffee, hot cocoa, and cookies, and more! There will be crafts for the children, story time, entertainment, and "special" guests! Come join us for a fun filled, magical holiday evening!

Breakfast with Santa

Date: Saturday, December 9, 2017

Fee: $12 per person over age 2 (Children 2 and under are free)
Location: Cotati Room (next to Police Department)
Come join Santa and his elves for a yummy breakfast of eggs, sausage, & pancakes! Finish it off with delicious coffee and hot cocoa. Each child will also have the opportunity to do arts & crafts, and will receive a gift from the Mr. Claus before they leave. This is sure to be a fun family event and a great way to celebrate the holiday season.

This year, we will be offering two breakfast times. Please indicate which time you'd like to attend when you register. Choose which time you would like to have breakfast and then use the rest of the time to visit with Santa and make crafts with the elves.

NEW! Sweethearts Fairytale Dance

Date: Saturday, February 10, 2018
Time: 5:30-8:00pm
Fee: $30/couple + $10 each additional child (max 2 children per chaperone)
Location: Cotati Room, 216 East School Street, behind City Hall
Come dance the night away to fun music, make arts and crafts, and enjoy light refreshments. Dress up in your fanciest dress or suit and create wonderful memories that will last. This magical event is for children (ages 3-12) and their favorite adult chaperone. There are no gender requirements. Must purchase tickets in advance.
